Manoj Vij, a passionate food lover he always knew he wanted to bring something unique to the culinary world. After completing his schooling, he pursued a Master’s in Hotel Management from the prestigious Institute of India Hotel Management. He worked at renowned hotels like The Oberoi and The Lalit in Delhi, honing his skills and learning the ins and outs of five-star hospitality. His journey even took him to Florida, USA, where he worked for two years in the bustling food industry. Yet, his heart always belonged to India.
Manoj’s dream was to create a space where people could enjoy high-quality, delicious food, using the knowledge he gained from his global experiences. His vision was simple—bring the best taste to India, where food is not just sustenance but a celebration. With that goal in mind, he returned to his roots and Along with his brother.
Anurag, on the other hand, came from a completely different background. He was an engineer, working for a major multinational corporation (MNC), but his love for food and his entrepreneurial spirit matched Manoj’s. Though their careers had taken them down different paths, the brothers shared a vision—to create a place where people could enjoy delicious pizzas and burgers, crafted with the same passion and quality that Manoj had learned from his years in the food industry.

In the small town of Bilaspur district, they launched their first outlet, Pizza Story. The restaurant quickly gained attention for its fresh, delicious pizzas and gourmet burgers, which offered a unique twist on the classic favorites. The locals loved it, and the outlet became a hit in no time.
But just as things were taking off, the world was hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. Businesses everywhere were struggling to survive, and the restaurant industry was among the hardest hit. For Manoj and Anurag, this was a defining moment. Instead of being discouraged, they saw an opportunity to adapt and evolve.
With strict lockdowns in place, dining out was no longer an option, but Manoj and Anurag refused to let there dream falter. They also pivoted Pizza Story’s model to focus on delivery and takeaway. Embracing digital technology, They built an online presence, allowing customers to order their favorite pizzas and burgers with ease. Safety became his top priority, implementing stringent hygiene measures and contactless delivery to ensure the well-being of his staff and customers.
Pizza Story emerged stronger than ever. Buoyed by the support of his loyal customers, Manoj and Anurag expanded his operations, opening three more outlets across Himachal Pradesh. These new locations in Kharar (Punjab), Sarkaghat, Ghumarwin, Jahu echoed the same warmth and quality that made the first outlet a success.
With a solid foundation and a proven model, Manoj and Anurag vision for Pizza Story continues to grow, with plans for more outlets across India. What started as a small dream in Himachal has now evolved into a thriving restaurant chain, poised to become a household name across the country.
